We were delighted to offer a pristine example of this fast Ford. The body and paintwork are unmarked, the interior in good condition showing small signs of age on the door handles. The 5 spoke alloys are unmarked. A part service history was supplied with the car showing proof of the upgrade work.

The car had many period upgrades including a top end re-build of the engine consequently being set up at Hangar 111 Suffolk rolling road Dynamometer achieving an engine power of 163.9 bhp at 5300rpm and 158 lbs/ft torque at 5297rpm. (As a comparison, the standard car produces 132 bhp at 5750 rpm and maximum torque of 133 lbs/ft produced at 2750 rpm)

Based on the success of the previous Series 1 this later Series 2 RS Turbo was more suited to the road where the S1 was a pure homologation car for group A racing & rallying. Many new features were adopted on the newly styled car.
